Syria, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.236 grams), Antioch mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, fillet border, rev. Athena standing to left, holding Nike bearing a wreath in left hand, right hand on shield with Medusa head and holding spear, **BASILEWS ANTIOCOU*, and to left **EUER GETOU, to left monogram of DI over A, AI/O to right behind Athena, (S.7092, SNG Israel I (Spaer) -, cf.SMA 283-292, BMC -, Hunter -). Good very fine, very rare, symbol unpublished.

The right symbol appears to be struck over O or a **F* and can be read as **LI*, AI (as suggested above) or maybe an N. In any event this right symbol does not appear in the major collections and SMA.
