Italy, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.395-385 B.C.), silver stater or nomos, (6.915 grams), obv. head of female (nymph) to right, with diadem, rev. man-headed bull to left, Nike above flying to left, in exergue **[NE]OPOLI[TWN], (cf.S.299 [£225], Rutter 158 [obv. die 101, rev. die 143], Hunter 11 and 12 [both same dies]). Good fine/nearly fine, very scarce.
