HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 134-138, Rome mint, (3.386 grams), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS [AV]G COS III P P, rev. VENERIS FELICIS around, Venus seated left on throne, holding Cupid and spear, (S.-, RIC 280, RSC 1449). Well centred, toned, very fine and scarce.
