WORLD ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS, gold medal award, 40mm gilt with attached blue and white ribbon, 1989 held in Bled, medal by by Huguenin, Switzerland, obv. three oars, rev. 'Championnats Dv Monde FISA Bled 1989'. Extremely fine and very rare.

Awarded to the Romanian team and this medal specifically to Cetatean Roman Robu of Romania, an Olympian gold and silver medallist 1988 and 1992.
