Batty, D.T., Batty's catalogue of the copper coinage of Great Britain, Ireland, British Isles and Colonies, local and private tokens etc., Manchester, two bound volumes with issues in parts Volume I part 1 1868, to part 13 1877 complete, 312 pages, listing 2973 tokens, some parts with plates, volume 2 parts 14 1877, to part 29 1884, complete, pps 315-704, listing 2973-5269, 2579, tokens etc. both volumes hard bound, (C-S 13860). Fine and rare.
Ex. Alfred Chitty (signed on volume II), Ken C. Welch, with his bookplate and Colin E. Pitchfork with stamp. These two volumes are on the English token coinage, subsequent two volumes 3 and 4 relate to the Regal copper coins, patterns etc running from part 30.
