Douglas Bank Co., proof penny, 1811, View of Peel Castle as before, reverse word BANK omitted (12.60 grams) (Davis 11; Pr. 52A; McC 110). Most attractive chocolate brown matte proof, nearly FDC and excessively rare, struck after the obverse die had been reworked and re-conditioned.
