Douglas, The Douglas Bank Co., (Littler, Dove & Co.,) one shilling, 1811 a trial struck in copper of the obverse with S. Ash across a plain field on the reverse, countermarked A, edge plain (5.07 gmms) (D.7, Pr. 49). Surface marks on obverse field otherwise even dark brown patina, very fine and excessively rare.
