Spence's farthings, Thos. Spence etc., legend/Britannia (D&H 1113); Oddfellows (D&H 1115); Pig (D&H 1117); Slave (D&H 1118); three men hanging (D&H 1119). Three men hanging/Oddfellows (D&H 1120). 1115 lacquered and with metal flaw, 1117 only fine and 1120 nearly extremely fine otherwise nearly uncirculated-uncirculated and patinated attractively and four are rare. (6)
First, second and sixth from Gothic Coins in June 1983, third ex S.V. Hagley Collection, fourth from Baldwin in 1973, fifth from Spink in 1975.
