Skidmore's Churches and Gates, halfpenies, (D&H 600, 612, 613a, 615, 623a, 625, 628, 631, 632 thick and thin, 639, 642, 645, 646, 650, 651, 655, 657, 658, 661, 664a, 672, and 674). Only five lacquered, mostly patinated uncirculated and some rare, a good variety of types. (23)
All purchased from Spink in 1973 and 1975, except 623a, 625, 631, 632 thin from Davisson Sale 9 (lot 290), 661 also ex J.R. Farnell via Spink, 664a (red) from R. Gladdle in 1984 and this last very rare.
