Gravesend, Skidmore's Naval penny, 1797 (D&H 1). Brown and red uncirculated, edge only partially engrailed, basically plain, very rare.
Ex Glendining's sale 3 November 1993, lot 19 (purchased from Spink after the sale per May Sinclair) with an old ticket stating from Baldwin July 1924.
