SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 206, (4.180 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around PM TR P XIIII COS III P P, Genius standing half-left, holding patera over modius, (S.1776, RIC 201, RSC 475). Good very fine.

An unusually heavy example of this coinage.
