Group of Seven: Naval General Service Medal 1915 - one bar - Palestine 1936-1939; 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star (France and Germany); Africa Star; Pacific Star; Italy Star; British War Medal (M.I.D), R.T. Sutton Sto.1 R.N. Mounted for wear. First medal only named impressed. Very fine.
M.I.D: 1 January 1941. 'For outstanding zeal, patience and cheerfulness whilst serving in HMS Hotspur and for never failing to set an example of wholehearted devotion to duty, without which the high tradition of the Royal Navy could not have been upheld. Stoker First Class Roy Thomas Sutton.'
