Commodus, (A.D. 177-192), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 184-9, (2.89 grams), obv. laureate head of Commodus to right, around M COMM ANT P FEL AVG BRIT, rev. around LIB AVG VI in exergue, around [P] M TR P XI IMP VII COS V P P, Commodus seated to left on platform, attended by officer before him Liberalitas, citizen on left mounting steps, (S.-, RIC 134, RSC.315). Slightly off centre on obverse, good very fine and scarce.
