Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 112-117, Rome mint, (3.46 grams), obv. laureate bust draped on far shoulder to right of Trajan, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, rev. ARAB AD[Q] in exergue, Arabia standing to front looking left, holding branch and canes, at feet a camel to left, around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, (cf.S.979, RIC 245/6, RSC.26). Nearly extremely fine, scarce.
