Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.14 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, star on throne, torch to left, to left **BASILEWS* to right **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 43). Fine style, good very fine and rare.
