Sicily, Selinus, (520-500 B.C.), silver didrachm, (8.6 grams), obv. selinon leaf with raised ridge pattern on leaves, rev. incuse square divided into triangles, with sectors set in parallel lines, (S.730, cf.ANS MN 33, Pl. 1, No.35). Very fine and rare.

Ex. recent Archaic Silver Hoard, (this hoard contained a small group of coins from Selinus many from different dies to the Selinus hoard cited above).
