One Pound, Collins/Allen (1910), superscribed issue on The National Bank of Australasia Limited, one pound, Melbourne, No. S956249, superscribed serial L 910752, (R. S50, This Note illustrated p.40 Nicholson). Almost a perfect note, good extremely fine and excessively rare in this condition for a superscribed note, and believed to be the finest known superscribed note.
Ex. Dr. Alan Nicholson Collection, Noble Numismatics sale 48 (lot 1680). This is a spectular note, as it is the finest known superscribed note. It is fresh and claen, with brilliant colours, without soiling, no marks, no faults and no defects.
