Rowland Philip King, shipping clerk, born 25Jan1910 at Brisbane, Qld; Enl.24Jun1940 at Kelvin Grove, Qld; TOS 2/10 Fd Rgt 16Jul1940; Emb.02Feb1941 to Singapore; to 10 AGH with tonsillitis 13Jun1941; POW 15Feb1942; died while a POW at Anganan POW Camp in Burma 08Feb1944 while posted as Bombardier to 2/10 Fld Rgt; buried at Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, Myanmar (Burma).
