Elagabalus, (218 -222 A.D.), AE as, (9.27 g), issued 220-221, Rome mint, obv. draped and cuirassed bust to right of Elagabalus, around IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Fortuna standing left holdin rudder on globe and cornucopiae, around FORTVNAE REDVCI, S C across, (S.7600, RIC 349. C.53). Brown patination, fine - nearly very fine, very scarce.
