Domitian, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, issued as Caesar under Vespasian, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 79, (3.07 g), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS COS VI, rev. around PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, clasped hands holding legionary eagle resting on a prow, (S.2643, RIC 246, RSC 393). Toned, nearly very fine, rare.
