Peloponnesos, Corinthia, Corinth, (400-375 B.C.), silver stater, (8.54 g), obv. Pegasos flying to right with pointed wing, Q below, rev. head of Athena or Aphrodite to right, wearing Corinthian helmet over leather cap, E P to right, to left Nike with Thymasterion, (cf.S.2630, Calciati 347, Ravel 925 [p.376]. BMC 383-4 [Pl.VI, 10], BCD Corinth 90, HGC 4, 1847). Very light patination, trace of mint lustre and die rust on reverse, off centred obverse extremely fine and very rare symbols.
