Thessaly, Pharsalus, (425-400 B.C.), silver drachm, (6.02 g), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, ornamented with wing, TO behind, rev. horseman prancing to right, **FARS around horse, within incuse square, TH in small letters below horse, (cf.S.2191, Lavva 101, cf.BCD 638, HGC 6, 624). Bright, good very fine and rare, minor scratches on the obverse.
