Christ enthroned facing, wearing nimbus, IC XC over to left KE RO, to right H**Q*EI, rev. facing figure of Alexius standing wearing crown, holding patriarchal cross to right 'Manus Dei' legend to left **A/LE/SI/W/ DE*C/**PO /T to right *T/W/ KO/ MN/ N/W*, (S.1924, Hendy Pl.4, 6-10 and pl.5 1-4, BMC 1-2, R.2054-5). Broad flan, very fine/nearly extremely fine and rare.
