Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), gold aureus, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 70, (7.18 g), obv. laureate head right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. COS ITER TR POT around, Pax standing left holding branch and caduceus, (S.-, RIC 26, Calico 606a). Struck slightly off centre, nearly very fine / very fine and scarce.
