France, Louis XI, (1461-1483), billon gros de Roi, issue of December 1461, obv. + LVDOVICVS DEI GRA FRANCOR REX around, crown over three lis, rev. cross with fleur de lis at ends, around + SIT NOMEN DOMINI BE[NEDI]CTVM, (Lafaurie 532, Duplessy 548, Ciani 752). Toned, weak in places good fine and scarce.
