Germany, City of Nuremberg, gold medal of ten ducats, 1641, (34.54 g, 41.22 mm), by Christian Maler, obv. around LAVDATE EVM . INCTRA, King David with a crown and cloak kneeling to left playing the harp, before altar with an open book, above the shining name of Jehovah (erased), in exergue PSALT : I . VO . / 1641 ., rev. OBIECTA MOVENT / SENSVS ., King David with harp standing left on terrace looking at the bathing Bathsheba, who is looking at herself in the mirror, fountain to right, (Brozatus -, Erlanger Collection -, Erlanger Collection II, 2607 (in silver), Whiting Collection -). Area of double striking, has been pierced and plugged, otherwise good very fine and extremely rare, probably the third known example.
