TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 14-37, (3.46 g), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, rev. PONTIF MAXIM, Livia (as Pax) seated to right on chair with ornate legs, holding vertical sceptre and branch, line below, (S.1763, RIC 26, BMC 48, RSC 16). Toned, fine style, very fine, light porosity.
