AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued 17 B.C. by M. Sanquinius, (11.10 g), obv. AVGVSTVS / TRIBVNIC / POTEST in three lines within oak wreath, rev. M SANQVINIVS Q F III VIR A A A F F around large SC, (S.1666, RIC 342, C.521, CBN 287, BMC 193). Light brown patina, slightly off centred reverse, good fine and very scarce.
