A group of documents, dated 1844-1897, including a Wholesale Dealer's Licence in Wine and Spirituous Liquors, Launceston, Van Diemens Land, 1844; Colony of New South Wales, Conveyance and Assignment of Assets of real and personal assets of an insolvent estate of the firm formerly trading under and using the name of Hughes and Hosking, Sydney, 1848; Colony of Victoria, Memorandum of Transfer, Melbourne, 1866; Tasmania, approval for a Public House Licence for the Launceston Club Hotel, 1868; Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society, Melbourne, policy for household furniture and effects including two pianofortes, St Kilda, 1881; Colonial Mutual Insurance Company, policy for a building in Campbell Creek, 1884; Australian Alliance Assurance Company, Fire Policy, 1886; Lease Agreement between the London Bank of Australia Limited and Duncan Shaw Smith, North Melbourne, 1895, with Victoria duty stamps of 2/6 (2), 5/- (2) and 10/- affixed; Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Company, Fire Policy, 1898, for the Honorable Robert Hoddle Drieberg White, for seven properties in Fitzroy, 1897.
