Eric Huntley Spence 2250 (NX37395), born 13Jan1912 at Kalgoorlie, WA; Enl.26Jun1941 at Paddington, Sydney, NSW, with 9 years previous service in AMF, 43/48Bns at rank of Sgt; Appt'd Lieut 02Nov1941; to Capt 15Jun1945; Disch. as Captain ex 1 Armoured Corps Ordnance Field Park; was a member of BCOF to Korea; in Jan1960 was a Major and Ordnance Officer at 5 Base Ordnance Depot in WA; retired 13Jan1962 after serving in AIF (NX37395) 26Nov1941 - 30Jun1947, Interim Army (NX37395) 01Jul1947 - 14Aug1952, ARA (2/250) 15Aug1952 - 13Jan1962 with operational service at Port Moresby, Morotai and Japan 11Jun1945 - 16Dec1946 and Japan 12Mar1947 - 25Feb1952; Died 05Feb1978 and buried at Fremantle Cemetery, Palmyra, WA.
