Francis Lillis, railway employee, age 29, born at Allendale, Vic; Enl.19Aug1914 at Prahran, Melbourne, Vic, with previous service of 2 1/2 years in RAN Reserves and 4 1/2 years in 1/7 AIR; Emb.21Oct1914; joined MEF 05Apr1915 for Gallipoli Campaign; WIA 5/6May1915 GSW right arm, at Gallipoli; to hospital 10May1915; rejoined unit at Anzac 13Jul1915; various postings and then to France 02Nov1916; various postings and to hospital with VD while with 66Bn; various other admissions to hospital sick; RTA 15Sep1918; Disch.17Jan1919 Medically Unfit; Died 25Dec1938.
