Arthur Leonard Jones, stove fitter, age 25, born at South Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; Enl.12Aug1914 at Sydney, NSW, in AN&MEF, with 3 years service as a trooper in Canadian Dragoons; Disch.04Mar1915 on termination of engagement; applied to join AIF, 6RFTS for 2Bn, 06May1915 at Liverpool, Sydney, NSW; Medical Examination report dated 14May1915 determined that he had a hernia on his right side received while on service in New Guinea and as such was unfit for active service so he was discharged.
