MM Trio to WIA: Military Medal (GVR type 1); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 2026 Pte T.Todd, 3/Coy Aust: M.G.C. on first medal, 2026 Pte T.Todd 10 Bn. A.I.F. on last three medals. All medals impressed. Swing mounted, toned good fine.

Together with Ticket No.1 Australian Hospital Ship "Karoola", to 2026 Private Todd Thomas H. 3rd Machine Gun Co., Diagnosis - SW. Loss of Left Eye.

MM: LG 11/5/1917, p4601; CAG 27/8/1917, p1829 - to Private Thomas Todd, 3rd Australian Machine Gun Company.

Recommendation: Before the operations at Le Barque, from 25th to 27th. February, 1917, Private Todd showed conspicuous devotion to duty as a runner. On several occasions he carried important messages to the front line through heavy barrages. Although ill, Private Todd refused to go sick, and continued to act as front line runner until relief of unit.
