Family Group: (Father) Pair: Natal Rebellion Medal 1907, - clasp - 1906; British War Medal 1914-18. Tpr: D.Goslett, Roystons Horse. on first medal, 106 Pte D.B.Goslett. A.N.&M.E.F. on second medal.; (Son) Group of Four: 1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. Third medal a replacement with name erased, VX104756 D.K.Goslett on the other three medals. The Natal Medal naming area has been worked on and then impressed with an engraved correction to 'E' in surname, all other named medals impressed. Display mounted in two groups, fine - extremely fine.

Forces, previous service 3 years 186 days Natal Field Arty, 3 months Roystons Horse and 2 years Natal Naval Volunteers; Emb.28Nov1914; RTA 06Dec1915 from Rabaul; Disch.23Dec1915; Enl.01Feb1916 for service in Australia and appt'd Recruiting Sgt; Trf to Town Hall Recruiting Depot and reduced rank to A/Cpl 09Aug1916; Disch.15Nov1916 due to reduction in staff; died 26Feb1953 and buried at Spring Vale Cemetery, Melbourne, Vic. (British War Medal 1914-18 is only medal entitlement for WWI.)
