Aubrey Eric Hoad, mechanic, age 18, born at Tumut, NSW; Enl.21Sep1916 at Show Ground Camp, Sydney, NSW, with 4 years previous service in senior cadets and 3 months in militia; Emb.10May1917; to France 14Nov1917; TOS 30Bn 29Nov1917; RTA08Jan1919; Disch.26Mar1919 Medically Unfit due to influenza.

Clifton Henry James Hoad, mercer, age 19, born at Tumut, NSW; Enl.18Jan1916 at Casula, NSW, with 18 months service in 44th Infy militia; Emb.08Jul1916; TOS 2LHR 12Aug1916 ex MG Sqn; to MG Course 05Nov1916; rejoined 2 MG Sqn 13Nov1916; KIA 05Nov1917 at Palestine and buried in grave with four others near Tel Khuweilfeh Redoubt, later exhumed and buried at Beersheba Military Cemetery, Palestine.
