Group of Seven: 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star, - clasp - France and Germany; Africa Star, - clasp - North Africa 1942-43; Burma Star; War Medal 1939-45; Royal Victorian Medal (EIIR Britt:Omn); Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (GVIR Ind:Imp) with second award bar. The first six medals unnamed, LX.21082 C.H.Bickley. O.C.1 H.M.S. Emerald. on last medal. The named medal impressed. Swing mounted, some contact marks, otherwise nearly extremely fine.

Includes a 1950's photo of a ship's crew standing and seated together with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Princess Anne and list of some recipients of the Royal Victorian Medal that confirms the award to Charles Henry Bickley as CPO H.M.Y. Britannia 13.6.1959.

H.M.Y. Britannia was the former royal yacht of the British monarchy that was in service from 1954 until 1997.
