Trajan, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued 103-107, Rome mint, (3.33 g), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P COS V P P, rev. Dacian captive seated right in attitude of mourning at foot of trophy, around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, (cf.S.3146, RIC 223, RSC 537c, Woytek 190a). Toned, good very fine, very scarce.
