Titus, as Caesar, (69-79 A.D.), AE As (9.65 g), Lugdunum (Lyon) Mint, struck under Vespasian, in 77-78, obv. laureate head right, globe at point of neck, around T CAES IMP AVG F TR P COS VI CENSOR, rev. VICTORIA NAVALIS, S C across field, Victory standing left on prow, holding wreath and palm frond, (cf.S.2485, RIC II.1 1275 (Vespasian), Lyon 130). Brown surfaces, nearly very fine and very rare.
Only one example (in the ANS) listed in Lyon for Victory standing left.
