Boiotia, Thebes, (Circa 379-368 B.C.), silver stater (12.10 g), Charo.. Magistrate, obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora with ivy wreath with berries in upper fields, across fields **X*A RO all within concave circle, (cf.S.2398, Myron Hoard [Pl.E, 22 same reverse die], BCD 509 [same dies], Hepworth B2 No.95, BMC 168, Pozzi 1446, HGC 4, 1331). Toned, good very fine, slightly off centred, obverse in high relief and rare.
