Tibet, Sro-Srang Theocracy coinage, pattern Copper five (5) srang, year 927 (1953), Autonomous Tibetan issue, snow lion with Mt. Kailash with moon and sun above, surrounded by the standard legend: obv. dga' ldan pho brang phyogs las rnam rgyal, with denomination srang lnga ("five srang") below, rev. the Wheel of Law at center, surrounded by "flaming jewel", with ribbons and lotus flower below and two branches on either side, this surrounded by a string of pearls with legend around: gangs ljongs chos srid gnyis ldan rab lo 927 (cycle year 927 of the both religious and worldly [government] of the Snow Country), (KM.Pn.20). Very rare, good very fine.
