William Thomas Amor, driver, age 23, born at Five Dock, Sydney, NSW; Enl.09Apr1915 at Infantry Depot, Liverpool, NSW in Band; Disch.12Jul1915 with comment 'Unlikely to become efficient', without pay after being AWL; Re-Enl.15May1916 at RAS Grounds, Sydney, NSW, now claiming to be a circus rider with previous service on Training Ship Sobraon; Emb.07Oct1916 with 21Rfts for 13Bn; found guilty on a few occasions of being AWL; to France 05Sep1917; RTA 12Jul1919; Disch.10Oct1919.
William Thomas Amor served on several Royal Navy ships between 2 April 1909 and 4 May 1911. During his AIF service with 13 Battalion he was also a member of the unit's band. After war service he was employed on the Sydney trams. He died in 1942 and was buried at the Church of England Cemetery, Rookwood, Sydney, NSW on 14 August.
