Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse with trace of ghost dates), - five clasps - Cape Colony, Rhodesia, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901. 104 Trpr: W.W.Wynn, N.S.W. Bushmen. Impressed. Dark toned with some spotting, otherwise good very fine.

Together with Soldier's New Testament, South Africa 1900, small pocket book printed specially for soldiers, inside of cover stamped, 'South Africa General Mission, Johannesburg' and printed by hand in ink, 'No.104/Trooper/W,W,Wynn/N:S.Wales/Bushmens, Contengent (sic)/Pretoria; South, Africa/25/December, 1900'; also handwritten in ink on cover page, '104/Trooper W.Wynn/N.S.Wales Bushmen', and hand printed in pencil above, 'From Tree (sic possible Three)/Boer Women/For Kinds To Babys/Z Beyts/Sireipiet (?)/Zizerest (?) (the last 3 names possibly Afrikaan women), inside with a newspaper clipping and also a few local leaf sprays; very faded on front and back cover and all pages with red stain at bottom right edge, obviously from being carried and used 'In the Field'.
