Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, posthumous issue, (died A.D.141, silver denarius, (3.36 g), issued 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing to left holding long torch in left hand, around AVGVSTA, (S.4583, BMC 417, RIC 361, RSC 101a). Well centred, toned, extremely fine.
