Domitian, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 81, obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMITIANVS AVG PM, rev. around TR P COS VII DES VIII, Minerva standing to right, fighting, holding javelin and shield, (cf.S.2734, RIC 58, RSC 560). Toned, good very fine or better, an early issue.
