Sasanian King, Yazdgird (Yazdgard) III, (A.D. 632-651), silver drachm, (4.14 g), mint SK Sagistan (Sakastan), regal year 4, obv. text in Pahlavi, bust right wearing mural crown, two wings, and star set on a crescent, three stars within crescent around single line border, rev. "Fire of Shahpur" in Pahlavi (crude), fire altar with ribbons flanked by two attendants, star and crescent flanking flames, wearing mural crowns, two circular borders around with four evenly spaced star and crescents, (Sellwood 44, Karlsson -, Gobl I/I cf.illustration 234, Sunrise 1010). Uneven tone, extremely fine, scarce.
