Cilicia, Tarsos, (after 164 B.C.), AE 18, (4.72 g), obv. turreted head of Tyche (city goddess), to right, A behind, rev. Zeus seated left, monograms of ATP / NE to right, to left downwards **[TA]RSEW[N]*, (S.5673, SNG Levante 919 Pl.58 [This Coin], SNG France 1287, cf.SNG von Aulock 5973). Toned, dark green patination, good very fine, rare.

Ex Edoardo Levante Collection, sold in CNG Mail Bid Sale 66, 19 May 2004 (lot 620) with CNG ticket.
Levante notes that this coin seem to be the only known silver "autonomous" coin of Tarsos (!).
