Low Countries, Provincial, Hainaut, County, Jean II of Avesnes (1280-1304), silver Esterlin or petit gros, (1.28 g), undated c.1290-1295 (1.29g), Mons mint (Chalon 37, B.2097). Very fine and rare, with attractive grey patination.
