Description

Central Africa, Nyassa Company, 20 reis, 1894 H, in bronze, same legend both sides (see Sweeney p.189) (Hern 394c). Red and brown uncirculated and extremely rare.

"In 1894 the Company of Nyassa was given a charter by the Lisbon Government to administer the Northern end of Mozambique, Nyassa and Cabo Delgado being the Northernmost provinces.
