Mostly very fine, a few better. (12)

JHS on the obverse of many of these coins in one of several described versions of the origon, could be for "Jesus Hominus Salvator" (Jesus Saviour of Mankind). It was placed on the coins because of British help in selling Kashmir to Dogras for 75 lakhs of rupees.

ERROR: The 1st and 3rd coin illustrated belong to lot 4343.
