Gallienus, (A.D. 253-268), antoninianus, issued in joint reign (254 A.D.), Rome Mint, (3.21 g), obv. radiate, cuirassed bust right, IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS AVG around, rev. VIRTVS AVGG, soldier standing facing, head left,, resting on shield and spear, (S.10411, RIC 181) (illustrated); another, (3.71 g), rev. the Orient turreted, standing right presenting wreath to emperor standing left, (S.10341, RIC 448); another, (2.53 g), rev. Aequitas standing left holding scales and cornucopiae, (S.10167, RIC 159); another, (3.53 g), rev. Laetitia standing left holding wreath and anchor, (cf.S.10251, RIC 616); another similar, (3.85 g), (cf.S.10251, RIC 226). Toning, fine - good very fine. (5)
